Job Description

POSITIONS AVAILABLE THROUGHOUT NEBRASKA

This position primarily involves operating a steel tracked machine equipped with powered rotary teeth that trims off dirt to prepare the grade for paving.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Operate the Milling machine to prepare the grade to project specifications.
• Raking and shoveling concrete mixture during paving operations as needed
• Operate a variety of hand and power tools
• Operating unloading mechanism on truck trailers
• Perform traffic control and flagging activities as needed
• Follows safety rules and regulations on all job sites
• Occasionally placing signs, barricades, traffic cones and other warning devices
• Maintain a clean job site
• Potentially operate a skid steer loader (upon proper training)

Qualifications:

• Must be able to work outdoors with possible exposure to inclement weather
• Must be able to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds
• Experience is not necessary
• Werner Construction will provide all necessary Training
